about Cuttlefern

cherries are my native fruit.

i acquired Animal Crossing in late March of 2020 and began my first island journey. i wasn't sure what i'd get out of the game or how i wanted my island to look, but i was ready to spend an exorbitant amount of hours hanging out in a virtual townscape.

when i eventually unlocked terraforming i came both closer and further away from understanding how some people were able to craft their islands. the possibilities feel limitless but upon diving in you begin to realize there are limits and they can in fact be very frustrating as well. tree placement and the entire building system are nightmares and can completely offroad your original plans. moving buildings takes SO MANY bells. but once you get past the initial bumps you can start relishing in the shaping and decorating of your space.

apples are my native fruit.

this is my first modded island. the houses are more spread out compared to Cuttlefern with distinctive areas for each house rather than a tight knit neighborhood. i like the way individual houses stand out and the ways i can fit them around terraforming but i honestly prefer having a compact neighborhood for the houses and leaving most the island for natural features. regardless, i'm having a good time running around and playing the game with very crucial tweaks for my enjoyment.
